The Digerati Group deploys working AI inside car dealerships — agents, voice AI, content systems, and the training to run them. Built by operators who have run the budget, walked the floor, and shipped the product. Activating intelligent tech since 2017.
The Digerati Group is an AI consulting and deployment firm built exclusively for automotive retail — car dealerships, dealer groups, and the OEMs and vendors who serve them. Founded in 2012 by Gray Scott, former CMO of Cardinale Automotive Group (22 stores), Digerati has been activating intelligent technology in dealerships since 2017 and has audited more than 40 AI and martech vendors.
Most dealers do not have an AI problem. They have a too-many-vendors, too-much-hype, no-one-who-has-run-a-store problem. We cut through it: audit the stack, pick the tech that will still exist in five years, train the team, and ship working systems to the retail floor.
Unlike traditional agencies, Digerati sells no software and takes no vendor commissions — our only incentive is your outcome.
Every vendor, contract, and workflow scored against eight criteria. What works, what burns budget, what to consolidate.
Production agents, voice AI, content systems, and internal tooling — built, branded, and shipped into daily operations.
Executive and floor-level AI training that turns skeptics into daily users. Literacy first, then leverage.
A deployment plan with an owner, a metric, and a deadline. Past pilots, into production, in ninety days.
Audit — we inventory every tool, contract, and workflow, and score the stack against what the store actually needs. Most audits find 30 to 40 percent wasted spend.
Pilot — one high-leverage use case, deployed in weeks, with a clear success metric before a dollar of broader spend.
Train — executive sessions and floor-level training so the BDC, sales, and service teams actually use what was built.
Ship — production deployment: agents, voice AI, content systems, and internal tools, branded and integrated with your CRM and inventory data.
Measure — a scorecard the boardroom can read: usage, outcomes, and dollars, not vanity metrics.
An automotive AI consultant audits your current technology stack, identifies where AI genuinely improves outcomes (lead handling, BDC workflows, content, service scheduling, reporting), and then deploys and trains your team on the tools that fit. The Digerati Group goes further than advisory: we build and ship working AI systems — agents, voice AI, and content pipelines — inside the dealership, typically within 90 days.
Engagements range from a one-day workshop or stack audit to multi-month deployment programs. Every engagement is scoped on a call based on store count, current stack, and goals. The first consult or audit conversation is free.
Most pilots fail at month two because they were bought, not built: no owner inside the store, no training for the BDC and sales teams, and no measurement plan. Our 5-stage rollout — audit, pilot, train, ship, measure — exists specifically to prevent that failure pattern.
It depends on the job. Commodity tasks are usually best bought; anything touching your first-party data, brand voice, or competitive edge is often better built. We give operators a vendor-versus-build framework they can defend to their partners — and since Digerati sells no software, the recommendation is unbiased.
